Fortalecimento do Sistema Dual em Asia/ Strengthening the Dual System in Asia

No marco do Convénio de colaboração do Instituto CRIIA com PARFED (Pilipinas Association of Rural Families for Education and Development), realisou-se em Maio de 2025 um seminário de formação de uma semana de duração, assim como a Assembleia Geral desta entidade em Tagaytay City (com o apoio de Caritas Filipinas e de “Land Bank of the Phillipines”). Participaram as oito escolas da rede (FFS, Family Farm Schools).

Além de se realizarem várias reuniões com o Ministério de Educação (DepEd, Department of Education), concretamente com a Sra. Georgina Yang, Diretora de Relações Exteriores; com a Sra. Pewee Villanueva, Diretora de Assuntos Corporativos de Land Bank, de quem se espera seguir recebendo apoio para fortalecimento institucional de PARFED; com o Sr. Jerry Muhi, Presidente de Dualtech Training Center Foundation Inc., una institução educativa de prestígio nacional por. Praticar o Sistema Dual, que está ajudando a algumas FFS na sua transição a programas técnicos dependentes de TESDA (The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority); com o Sr. Per Börjedren, Especialista Principal em Educação do Banco Asiático de Desenvolvimento (ADB); com algumas universidades do país (como a UAP, University of Asia and the Pacific, que poderia certificar a formação de formadores no futuro, segundo o seu Secretário-geral, o Sr. Anthony David). Também houve contatos com a delegação da União Europeia em Filipinas (Sra. Alicia Louro) e com a Delegação da FAO (cuja sede regional está em Jacarta, mas com delegação em Manila), concretamente com o seu Especialista em Gestão de Programas, a Sra. Gretchen Montejo.

Within the framework of the MoA between CRIIA Institute and PARFED (Pilipinas Association of Rural Families for Education and Development), a one-week training workshop as well as the General Assembly of this entity was held in Tagaytay City (with the support of Caritas Philippines and Land Bank of the Phillipines), in May 2025. All eight schools (FFS, Family Farm Schools) of the network attended.

In addition, several meetings were held with the Ministry of Education (DepEd), specifically with Ms. Georgina Yang, Director of External Partnerships Service; with Ms. Pewee Villanueva, Director of Corporate Affairs of Land Bank, from whom it is expected to continue receiving support for PARFED’s capacity building; with Mr. Jerry Muhi, President of Dualtech Training Center Foundation Inc., an educational institution of national prestige in terms of Dual System, which is helping some FFS in their transition to technical programs under TESDA (The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority); with the Principal Education Specialist of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Mr. Per Börjedren; with some universities in the country (such as UAP, University of Asia and the Pacific, which could certify the training of trainers in the future, according to its Secretary General, Mr. Anthony David). There were also contacts with the European Union office in the Philippines (Ms. Alicia Louro) and with the FAO Office (whose regional headquarters are in Jakarta, but with a delegation in Manila), specifically with its Program Management Specialist, Ms. Gretchen Montejo.
